Following the success of the S13, the new (Zenki) S14 retained the FR layout that contributed to its predecessor's popularity. The S14 model was later given a sharper front-end design in 1996, making the earlier version with its more refined appearance a rare find.

The N313a represents the turbocharged K’s variant (N313b is NA engine Q's), while the Type S comes with a standard rear spoiler.
